Goin Fishin

This is probably going to be the best weekend EVER!!!!!

Probably not really but I will just pretend. Mike is taking all kids fishing for two days and I get to be by myself. My plan is to get stuff done like laundry and yucky stuff like that but we will see. YAY!!!!!

Awards night

This is really a great school year for Logan! The other night was senior awards night at the high school. A couple weeks before Logan received a invitation to come to this special night. Well come to find out that the coach gave all of the varsity football team an award for team of the year and Logan had played JV all season except the last game of varsity he joined the team. Logan was the only JV player to receive this award with the whole varsity team the other night. Oh my goodness we were so excited for him. He really worked hard the whole season. Go Logan!!

Lift-a-thon

Logan is a beast!!! Our family was able to go watch Logan compete in a lifting competition the other day. It was really awesome to see him be able to lift so much weight. He started at 195 lbs and I thought,  oh no can he do that? His coach that was the MC watched Logan lift and announced, no problem! Wow he just lifted 195 lbs like no big deal. Logan ended up lifting 220 lbs and winning in his group. The prize was a NFL Jersey of his choosing. He picked Panthers! Yay Go Logan!!

Memories

 Going thru pics today to clean out my photo storage and I found some that made me smile. I have been sick lately and haven't had the energy to do much. So seeing fun, happy, joyful moments in pictures  is always good. Julia took this picture of Isabelle and I love it!

 My sweet Julia, oh my goodness! I don't know what I would do without her help. She has truly been a lifesaver.

 My Logan!! I loved watching his football games this past season. I think it helped that he loves this sport so much.

Lowell always is teasing the girls! He is such a funny energetic kid that loves to keep us entertained. Well it was good to get on here today and look thru family pics. I realized I need more pics of my oldest which is hard to get these days.

Paint a Dream

I love to paint craft projects but hate to paint walls in my house. I still have walls that need to be finished here at home. UGH!! I thought it would be fun to go and paint some ceramics with Lowell and Isabelle. Belle picked a cat, Lowell picked a fighter jet, and I picked a butter dish. Its so fun and relaxing and the kids said they loved it.

Mother's Day!!

My kids try as best as they can to make my day special. Its so sweet to see them want to clean a room or ask me "are you liking your day so far?" Julia bought me a willow tree figurine and I LOVE willow tree! I just love that all my children were still home this year but I have a feeling next years mothers day will be different.

                           Even   though    none of us are fully smiling which is funny and that Lowell looks like he has a bowl haircut (which he doesn't) I love this picture of us. My wonderful children that are so dear to me and they try to be kind and loving as best they can. It was a wonderful Mothers Day. 

Field Trip!

I realized I don't have many years left that I get to go on a field trip with one of my kids. The other day I was able to help out with Isabelle's class for a  field trip to learn all about agriculture. We learned about a dairy cow named Buttercup,  Isabelle tells her friends "my mom was once chased by a bull. Ya, she is interesting."  Well I'm glad I'm not boring I guess.

These barn owls were watching us all very carefully. It was a fun day and I'm so glad I get to do this kind of stuff with my kids.
